I’ve thought of this too and definitely believe that people could have read some of my behavior as signs, especially my writing which — in my sophomoric way — I thought of as dark comedy but others would have seen as violent plans.

And on balance, I guess I’d be okay with getting profiled that way if it meant someone who was actually a danger also was getting profiled and hopefully stopped before it was too late.
